Lizzo recorded a video after she saw one of her songs being performed by TSU, Tennessee State University at the National Battle of the Bands. From that video, it reignited a lot of emotions for Eric and Justin. They share why HBCUs matter in music education. They share personal experiences as alumni, but also as teachers that have opened the doors for their students to attend.
